A little info on Traxmusic… Traxmusic – Pro Audio Resource, got underway in the summer of 1999 just as an activity to pass the time. Starting out on my own and soon realising that there was a great similar interest as me, in pro audio, people started to notice that the site kept original, informative and modern. After being acquainted with sound engineers, professional musicians and freelance writers, we developed a small pro audio community. Reviewing some of the latest software’s from modern developers. Plugin Instruments from all platforms formats, from PC & MAC, VST, DX, TDM, RTAS etc…

From the start, we began to get into the minds of them awe-inspiring plugin developers, as you can see in the interviews section. Our first was DR Sync the creator of SynC Modular on the 14 of December, 2000. Since that time DR Sync has being acquired by Native Instruments.

Over time, Traxmusic have carved out a reputation among pro audio enthusiasts both users and developers alike, all over the world, for virtuous high quality trusted reviews and articles in an unbiased manner. This reputation has earned the goodwill of the readers as well as developers as they can depend on our experience and expertise in the computer audio industry to provide them with the latest information on the numerous audio products that are on the market. Our reliability and excellent service has not disappointed our readers and we aim to keep this reliance.

Thinking about writing for us?… If you think you’d be up to the standard of what we print here at Traxmusic, then what not give us a shout and maybe you’ll see it printed!

Derik White aka Dusted William, Beat junky from birth. The real work started in the late 80s quickly moving from rap to industrial to techno, and even rock since I’m heavily addicted to bass guitar in all its forms. Although I get invited into many different projects, I’m now establishing my own company to bring new and unusual sounds into studios who share this hunger with me. Those who know me stick Elliot Smith, Underworld, Congo Natty or Of Montreal in my Christmas stocking. This year I was lucky enough to win a double-award for one of my multimedia compositions. Big thanks to everyone who helped. Since some of my work gets me involved in the design of major new synths, I like to spend my spare time designing sounds for synths that others have passed over :) Relationships and music are my thing, so if you’ve got a question, feel free to write to me.
