Tuesday, June 7 2005 | dmac TC Bringing System 6000 Plug-Ins to Pro Tools TC Electronic announced that a series of System 6000 stereo plug-ins will be available for Pro Tools HD. Today, Digidesign's HD DSP card provides a processing infrastructure powerful enough to host a choice selection of stereo reverbs and mastering tools from TC's flagship system. With the System 6000 plug-ins from TC Electronic, some of the most sophisticated algorithms for mixing and mastering will be made available to the Pro Tools platform. TC Electronic expects four new TDM plug-ins, MD3 (EUR 1295 retail ex. VAT), VSS3 (EUR 795 retail ex. VAT), DVR2 (EUR 595 retail ex. VAT) and NonLin2 (EUR 495 retail ex. VAT), to be available during the second half of 2005. Prices are preliminary. TC Electronic is also re-establishing distribution of its TDM plug-ins through TC's normal sales channels.
